About Unit 353

Greater Washington Unit 353 of the Ladies' Auxiliary, Military Order of the Purple Heart of the United States of America, Inc. (LAMOPH) was instituted on June 29, 2004.

Many our Ladies have been an active part of many communities in Virginia and Washington, DC area before our Unit's Institution. Our Ladies' Auxiliary Unit 353 often participates in various events and projects. We have been supporting military service members, veterans, and their families throughout the area and in transit. Our Unit members do not know the word "impossible". We can turn the biggest challenge into a success when we work on it as a team.

Our LAMOPH Unit 353 has over 20 Ladies. We are always glad to welcome new members into our Purple Heat family. If you are interested and eligible, we invite you to join the LAMOPH and our Greater Washington Unit 353.

Our Unit 353 Officers are just a phone call or an e-mail message away. Please do not hesitate to contact us. Your questions and comments are always welcome. We look for new ideas and appreciate suggestions.
